We are super excited about this wedding. Not only because it’s another fellow photographers wedding but also because it was a destination wedding in Italy. When Angelika and Artur first contacted us with the option that the wedding might be in Tuscany, we knew already that this will be outstanding. Both of them are very talented photographers them self with a well running business in Pforzheim. Earlier this year we had the honor to do an engagement session here in the Munich area. In case you missed this, here is the post about it.
We headed down to Montecatini Terme on Wednesday to meet our friends from Stinglight Photography, (Stefan was assisting us during the wedding day, thanks a lot buddy for your help!) to spent a couple of relaxing days together. It had 41° Celsius when we arrived, and it was not forecasted to get any “cooler” for Saturday. So we got prepared for a new record this summer. And it was!
During our locations scouting on Friday we met with our couple already and seeing this amazing location Villa Sermolli in Buggiano Castello made us almost sleepless that night. It was simply the best choice of them to get married there.
The day started very laid-back with their friends and family with the getting ready in these wonderful rooms of the villa. Everything was already well decorated and set up for the party to start. It is unbelievable how much time these guys together with friends and family put into all this wonderful details and DIY projects.
A very emotional and personal ceremony held by the brother in law of Angelika made it a perfect start for the very intimate wedding party. The time flew by actually in the garden with some little games, canapés and drinks. We could not wait to head out in the area around the Villa to do some couple shots with this gorgeous looking guys during the best light. Have a special look at this outstanding wedding dress made by Angelika’s cousin herself. It was breathtaking beautiful. We had simply the best light for a shoot. We love those soft colors in Tuscany. The trees, the olive gardens and old Italian streets and houses. There are tons of shooting options.
But enough words now. See by yourself what made us speechless. Oh and stay tuned for another freaking amazing shoot with these two guys. We had the honor to take them to the beach for an after wedding shoot. Coming soon here in the blog.
To A&A: Thank you so much for the wonderful and fun time with you starting with the E-shoot here in Munich and everything around your wedding. You truly are super nice people and we are totally happy to have shared this fantastic time with you. Thank you so much and we are looking forward seeing you soon again. All the best!
Love Carmen and Ingo
