Summer Wedding Season Kick off | Christina and Florian

Last weekend the summer wedding season has began for us. After a long winter with super sweet and wonderful snowy weddings we could not wait for the day to come.

Summer? Well, sure we know when technically summer begins but we also know when spring should start. 😉

Since that was a big mess this year we were really happy to see the weather forecast for Saturday. It was just perfect for Christina and Flo to get married. It was 26 degrees warm, little cloudy but mostly a sunny day.

Ingo got to know Christina and Flo about 12 or so years ago. They actually went to the same university and had a handful friends in common. Ever since then our ways crossed path now and then as they are in Munich too. Every one is busy these days so we kinda lost touch over the years but when they got in touch with us last year in order to ask if we would like to cover their long time relationship stepping up a notch, we where over the moon excited.

Both are super super nice and boy are they good looking! Don’t ya agree? It felt like working with professional models plus both are very funny people.

This day in Salzburg was really magical for us. Starting out with the getting ready at Christina’s parents home and Flo got dressed at the reception hotel “Romantikhotel Gersbergalm”. We headed out to the sweet romantic church “St. Jakob” where a lot of friends and family celebrated a emotional ceremony.

We love if our clients take pictures and portraits as important as we do and we enjoyed taking C & F to a sweet location just near the venue for a couple of shoots. We could have shoot for hours there but working with these two guys was very easy so it was a easy task to get some shots.

The venue, at the foot of Salzburgs local mountain Gaisberg, has a brilliant view over Salzburg and the service, food and staff was incredible too. Very recommendable location to get married!

The reception and party just went as we have experience Salzburg weddings to be! WITH TONS of FUN and dancing, singing and not too less drinking 😉

The guests and friends made it really unforgettable for Christina and Flo and we are always moved to see a couple having great friends and close family doing everything making it an unforgettable experience!

Here is to thank Christina and Flo for the wonderful day and for trusting us and our work. We wish you a wonderful trip to South Africa and say “Hi” to our dear friend Christine Meintjes and have fun with her and the shoot. Christine, your Nikon will love their faces too 🙂

Beautiful shots as always, magnificent location and decoration, an extraordinarily pretty (!) couple.

But what I like most here and what makes me comment on this post is the vibrant LOVE not only the spouses, but also their friends and family spread in all the pictures!
The bridesmaids’ concern obviously was not how to look the best they can next to the bride (yet they still do), but how to make her happy, how to enhance her special day.
So much true joy, cohesion, gratefulness and delight – and you captured all that so beautifully! 🙂
