We have had the pleasure to meet this sweet couple a few years ago during a friends wedding in Chiemgau. Back then they lived far up in the north but over the last years they moved down to the Munich area. So it even happened that we bumped into each other in the city couple of years ago.
It’s a small world, so we were really happy to receive their inquiry last July and ever since than we could not wait to shoot their wedding. To get this message straight: We love traveling in general and to beautiful weddings in particular, but sleeping home now and then on a summer Saturday night is pretty charming too. That only happens about two or three times per season and we are enjoying it very much.
We have never been in Freising (center) before and we where surprised about the charming small town outside Munich. Nice cafes and sweet shooting spots all over the place.
Rike and Andy gave us plenty of time to be part of their getting ready and cover the very intimated first look. Since rain was forecasted for the weekend they have chosen the Weihenstephaner brewery area/park for the shoot and it could not have been better for that day. Plus, it did not really rain much 🙂
The ceremony with friends and family held in Christi-Himmelfahrts-Kirche was very personal and emotional. We are very thankful for the opportunity to cover the wonderful day for them. Thank you Rike and Andy for having us and we wish you all the best for your feature together. Hope we cross path someday soon again.
Love, C and I
PS: yes, that was another Rike and there is one more to come this year 😉
